Project Summary

The Boulogne-sur-Mer District Heating Scheme called Ecoliane provides low-carbon heat to public sector, residential and commercial customers.

The Boulogne-Sur-Mer District Heating and Cooling (DHC) network belongs to the city, which has opted for a public service delegation for its work and management. Dalkia, who therefore created the dedicated company Ecoliane, is in charge of the network under the city’s financial control for 24 years.

In 2018 they both decided to create an extension in a new area with a large potential of new subscribers. The National Sea Centre was connected to the network to recover its end energy.
